Play with fellow Canadians in-person and online (8pm) The Canadian Federation® is the official clearing house for Canada’s best Backgammon Players. Our Members compete for City, Provincial and National titles and promotional considerations. Applications are carefully reviewed and we approve individual membership based on various criteria.
Our History and Objectives: As a nationally incorporated non-profit, the CBF® is dedicated to promoting the game of Backgammon in Canada. Our leadership consists of an executive board as well as provincial volunteers who work year-round to plan all member events. They are all jointly responsible for the creation, administration, maintenance and propagation of our Canadian Chapters on a Regional and National basis. Club Officials vet all applicants, publish our quarterly newsletter and provide instruction to members and administer both live and online weekly competitions. In a club or online, the Federation® allows you to play all year round and share your passion with a growing community of players.

We have Members and/or Clubs in all of Canada's major cities, including Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal and throughout the Maritimes ie: in New Brunswick; Fredericton, Moncton, Nova Scotia; Halifax-Dartmouth, Prince Edward Island, Labrador and Newfoundland. We invite all players in our three Canadian territories to apply; Yukon, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. Onward! |
